What a great way to end the day, seeing this pardon.  Having attended Mannings trial and seeing how fragile Chelsea was..this brought tears to my eyes. This is a great thing Obama is doing.  The American taxpayers should be grateful to Manning for exposing the criminal behavior of some military through the released movie “Collateral Damage” that went viral on the Internet. Chelsea risked her life giving documents to WikiLeaks in order that we would know what was going on behind the scenes.   The message, when our government sent Manning to prison, was that it’s ok to be a whistleblower on a company… but not the government.

Protests around the world respond to assault on Palestine

TRADING-Carl Levin

Finally the Stock Market is being investigated.  With all the shenanigans on Wall St. it’s going to be interesting to see how this plays out.  For years the gambling and now, nano second trading has been going on and with any luck will stop.  This is not investing.  This is gambling no matter how you package it.  Trading high volumes of stock in minutes is betting on the markets.  Can someone please explain to these jokers what gambling is?  And, while you’re at it, explain what bribery is so our politicians can understand what’s so wrong with buying politicians…..when that investigation finally comes knocking!
