Today more than 10,000 people lined the streets of Philly to protest for clean energy and responsible ways to take care of mother earth. It was a spectacle of great proportions as protestors took to the streets with their message. It was an honor to be part of this and then to take part in the Bernie Sanders march (with the ‘V’) rolling through the streets of Philly to chants and cheers as we headed to FDR park to meet those braves souls who walked the 3;5 miles to get there.
Certainly this stuff would not have been covered by the regular media, who continue to minimize the importance of our movements for change. The day ended with a “Code Pink” party and some strategizing for tomorrow’s march at 11 am. then again at 3 pm. There’s no shortage of things going on here!!!
