There were about 10,000 people in FDR Park tonight, spread out over a huge area. They marched from city hall once again and with a mix of heat and angst tensions were high but still the crowd remained peaceful. Some inside bickering about candidates, corruption and feelings of giving up and taking back the “arena”. After seeing some of the speeches tonight I have to say the Hills pulled out the emotional armor and got the people right smack in the heart using BLM and Planned Parenthood…wow good marketing!
The outsiders were hoping for a coup but none came. Although Jill Stein did come out and talk to the people outside the gate. Looks like we’re in for 4 more years of the same old, same old unless of course Trump gets in and that will be worthy of popcorn! I’m booking front row tickets to that show. Let’s see what tomorrow brings.
