Our guest, a visit to Pueblo State Park/Lake & Pueblo House

December 27th, 2013 | Posted by Occupy The Roads in Pueblo | Pueblo House

Yesterday Cheryl Moore took us for a tour of the State Park and Reservoir in Pueblo West. Today Randy and I met for breakfast where Anne Courtright joined us for a final visit. It’s been so much fun having Randy (my husband) here with us for a week. Tomorrow he heads back home and I will continue my work here in Pueblo as we get closer to finishing Pueblo House. We’re excited to start working on the Stone House before too long.

Both houses may end up on the Historic registry. We have the Historic Society (from Denver) coming out Jan. 30th to do a structural walk through. It’s important the stone house be brought back to it’s full potential since it will be open to the public as a Music & Art house. So, we’ll need all the help we can muster. Knowing how much coordination/effort this house involved, not to mention volunteer time, labor/work and money it took, we’re thinking grants are the way to go so, we plan to hire professionals who will be able to work faster and more efficiently.
In the meantime here’s what we worked on today. (Janet)
