Occupy Baton Rouge

April 2nd, 2012 | Posted by Occupy The Roads in Baton Rouge

We arrived in Baton Rouge but hadn’t heard from anyone within the occupy movement except for one person who had another engagement and couldn’t meet with us. as dusk came. It was one of those days where we had to try 3 credit cards before we could find one that had room for gas, debit card expired while on the road so it didn’t work. Got to the bank 12 minutes after it closed. That left us having to stick around til morning when the credit union reopened. We decided the only thing that would work now was a margarita so we found the nearest Mexican restaurant and managed to scrap enough together to end the day on a positive note. Turns out we made some great occufriends in Baton Rouge
